Join Bernie Taupin for an exclusive series of live events to celebrate the publication of his new book Scattershot.

Bernie Taupin is half of one of the greatest creative partnerships in popular music; the man who wrote the lyrics for Elton John, the man who conceived the ideas that spawned countless hits, and sold millions of records worldwide. Together they were a duo, a unit, an immovable object. Their extraordinary half-century-and-counting creative relationship has been chronicled in biopics such as 2019's Rocketman and even John's own autobiography, Me. But Taupin, a famously private person, has kept his own account of their adventures close to his chest, until now.

From late, late nights with John Lennon, Bob Marley and Frank Sinatra; to memorable encounters with writers like Graham Greene, painters like Andy Warhol and Salvador Dali, and scores of notable misfits, miscreants, eccentrics and geniuses, this is a unique opportunity to hear the vivid memories and imaginings of one of music’s most legendary lyricists.

Taupin will be in conversation with broadcasting legend, Paul Gambaccini.

A copy of the memoir is included in the ticket price and will be available for collection on the night.
